This is where Will and Lindsey will be Friday-Sunday. Brand new 36 room hotel on top of downtown Blowing Rock. Warm and cozy unique boutique hotel that sits on top of a hill that overlooks downtown Blowing Rock. Log burning fireplaces, rock and reclaimed wood throughout that gives it the authentic mountain feel and charm. Also a lovely bar and restaurant downstairs. This is where the Bride and Groom will be!
The rest is from the website, but just know, Chetola is absolutely beautiful and a perfect mountain scene on a lake and roaming open mountain hills. One of my favorite places in Blowing Rock with a stellar restaurant named for famous NC Artist Bob Timberlake and acquaintance of my Dad. I have never experienced the spa services but I have heard they are amazing. Beautiful views and rooms, great services and food. It has it all! There are also condos and houses for rent. This is where I wanted to have the reception! Unfortunately, it was recently purchased and renovated and they no longer host events. The spa is amazing and it all sits on top of the mountain with beautiful sweeping views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. There is a new restaurant and bar onsite, however have not been there as of yet.
This is right on Sunset downtown Blowing Rock and has one of the best restaurants in town, The Best Cellar! It is one of my favorite places. The gardens and rooms are lovely.
The Embers Hotel has a small block of rooms and that is where Will and Lindsey will be staying Friday-Sunday.
Air Travel: Best option is to fly into Charlotte and rent a car to drive to Blowing Rock. Almost 2 hours door to door from the airport.
