Our favorite things to do and restaurants;

1) Hike Moses Cone trail and visit art center in main house (access off the Blue Ridge Parkway, near Blowing Rock.

2) Bass Lake-it isn’t named for our family, but it should be after all our walks and runs around it! This beautiful lake walk is just under a mile loop and a part of the larger Moses Cone estate. Entrance to Bass Lake and trails is off of 221 just up from Main Street Blowing Rock and there is a sidewalk from Main Street to the entrance.

3) Chetola Resort and Spa-Chetola is a beautiful resort property with a fantastic restaurant/bar (Timberlakes), lodge, lake views and full spa services.

4) Downtown Blowing Rock shopping and restaurants. Mountain Main Street USA! Beautiful park, fun antique and boutique shopping and plenty of spots for good food and cocktails.
